Gerling provided a unique turnkey HD solution for KCTS/KYVE, PBS stations in Washington state that have developed a reputation for leadership in HD Broadcasting. The requirements for this six camera, 24' unit included the unit being under CDL requirements. While most manufacturers could not bid these specifications, Gerling constructed a unit that was not just under the 26,000lb. threshold, but actually weighed 22,880lb. fully turnkey.

WJW (Cleveland) Acquires TWO (2) Gerling ENG/DSNG Vehicles
Fox 8 Cleveland acquired two Gerling ENG Vehicles over the Summer of '05. Based on the Sprinter chassis, the order included both a Gerling Sprinter ENG vehicle and a Sprinter ENG/DSNG Hybrid. Fully turnkey, with full fuel and driver, both units had a TOTAL weight of LESS THAN 8,100 lb.!!! Of course, that weight total includes every bit of Gerling quality and expertise that has made G&A the world Leader in Broadcast Television Vehicles.

Gerling Builds Twin 20' Production Units for Russian Broadcaster
Moscow-based Vidau RU came around the globe to look for a Broadcast Vehicle manufacturer at NAB. They came away with a clear choice in Gerling & Associates; Fall of '05 saw the completion of two 20' Super Nomad Production Trucks. A unique layout allows for a full production bench, isolated audio booth, and engineering/tape area, all in the space of the 20' operations enclosure.

Gerling completed three additional Mobile Command Units for Raytheon Corporation for use by the US Army at Fort Bliss, TX. The order included a 20' Sentry Class unit based on a cabover chassie, and two custom Sentry Class trailers. FBI Academy Purchases Six (6) Gerling Mobile Training Units!

Gerling Builds 18 Mobile Command Units for US Postal Inspector
The Gerling Sentry Class Mobile Command Center, pictured here in front of the Superdome in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, is but one of eighteen (18) built for the Law Enforcement Branch of the US Postal Service in '05. This herculean task was pulled off by Gerling for field offices located all over the nation. Based upon GMC C5500 chassis, Gerling's 15' operations enclosure was custom built to the USPS' exacting specifications, and the logistics of delivery were handled seamlessly by our management experts.
